Website Redesign for Oregon Small Businesses
An old website does not always need to be thrown away. Sometimes the domain, copy, photos, or search history are worth keeping while the design and structure need a cleaner rebuild.
What I look at first
I check the current page structure, mobile experience, loading problems, contact paths, existing search visibility, and whether useful content can be preserved. Then I can tell you whether a focused cleanup, a theme rebuild, or a full replacement is the better use of the budget.
Common reasons to redesign
- The site is hard to use on a phone.
- Customers cannot quickly tell what the business offers.
- The website is slow or overloaded with plugins.
- Important services are buried on one generic page.
- The owner cannot get updates made without a long delay.
Protect what is already working
A redesign should not casually break old URLs or remove useful content. When pages change, I plan redirects and keep the information that still earns traffic or helps customers.
